Founded in 2006, Milton Creamery is the realization of a dream in Southern Iowa – a land of rolling hills, lush woodlands, winding rivers, and fertile soil.

Practices
Southern Iowa's loess hills paint a picturesque landscape, shaped by glaciers and dotted with streams, runs, and creeks. The pastures and hay crops here are rich in grasses, legumes, and forbs, giving our cheeses their unique flavor and character.
We source fresh Iowa milk from small Amish and Mennonite family farms, each with herds under 120 cows, as well as a trusted larger herd farm about 85 miles from our creamery. Every partner farm follows strict quality standards, and none use artificial growth hormones like rBGH or rBST. We also never add artificial coloring to our cheese—just pure milk and careful craftsmanship.
The farmers who provide our milk don't use artificial growth hormones like rBGH or rBST. And we never add artificial coloring during cheesemaking.
